Theta Phi Alpha Fall 2020 Recruitment Video
During the Fall 2020 semester, a sorority on my campus asked me to edit their recruitment video. They already had the footage recorded and needed me to put it together in a visually stunning way. Their Director of Recruitment wanted it to include glitch elements but other than that, I had full creative freedom. I kept the typefaces consistent throughout the video and played around with light leaks. It was also important for me to keep everything to the beat of the music. I used Premiere Pro to create the final product.

Life Goes On by BTS, English Lyric Music Video
For the Visual FX/Motion Graphics class at Sacred Heart University with Professor Santos in Spring 2021, we learned how to use After Effects. The video below was my final project and was a music video with the translated English lyrics of one of my favorite songs, "Life Goes On" by BTS, sung in Korean. During my junior year of college, I was completely virtual and this song helped me get through that time.
This video reflects my own personal journey during that time period. It begins by showing footage of my house where I was isolated from March 2020 - May 2021. I then visited SHU for the first time in over a year in May, showing my steering wheel to represent the drive. It ended with me finally being back on campus and feeling like life was relatively normal again.
In terms of stylistic editing choices, I used the same typefaces throughout for consistency.  Since the first section of the video represents the past and my life during my virtual days, I included a rounded border to make it look vintage. It then disappears during the last portion since it was the current moment. I also played around a lot with affixing text to surface areas within the shot, such as the bridge in the still below.

SHU West Campus Virtual Reality Tour
During the Immersive Media Production class at Sacred Heart University with Professor Wang in Fall 2021, we used 360-degree cameras. One of our assignments was to create any sort of 360-degree video that could be viewed on YouTube and in a VR (virtual reality) headset. I decided to do a tour of West Campus at SHU and highlighted 4 locations. I used Premiere Pro to edit.
