This assignment consisted of creating an 8-page newsletter. I chose Starbucks for 2 reasons: I love their beverages and have a strong interest in the food industry, as a whole. This printed material needed to include a table of contents, employee profiles, a timeline, and new items.

Tasked with creating a newsletter for a company of choice, I drew multiple drafts and sketched out ideas. I knew the branding had to be kept consistent, yet I also wanted to add a twist. That's why I decided on a lighter green than their original shade. I also chose a bold sans serif typeface for the headings to give it a corporate and modern feel.
To further implement their logo, I included the circular shape as an asset throughout. On the timeline page, I used both their original and current logo in the background to represent their past and present.
Lastly, I gathered high-quality images from their social media accounts. My Photoshop skills were utilized to change the colors and image sizes of these jpegs. For example, the jacket sleeve on the table of contents page above was originally blue. The body copy was also taken from their accounts or website.
